This poem was written by my daughter, Heather. She was 16 years old at the time it was written and had undergone two heart procedures within four months. Heather has the most beautiful blue eyes and I will think of her each time I see this quilt. I believe the poem represents her strength and the inner peace she found at the time of much turmoil. She is my angel and this quilt is dedicated to her. Love, Mom
